On 15th of June, Fr George Fernandes SJ presented, the keys and responsibilities, of the principal's office to Fr Sebastein Puthenpura SJ, in a ceremony marked by speeches by Mr Raymond Perry and Mr Peter Vanhaeften. The ceremony was attended by the whole school, Fr Thana SJ, Mr Chandrashekhar Francis and other teachers.

Sayan Sarkar, X A, spoke on behalf of the students. Later into the ceremony Fr George Fernandes delivered his farewell speech, talking about his Enriching Experience at the main school and once again reminding that though riding high on success, there was still not only "room" but "mansions" for improvement.

In his first greeting to the Nobilians (the present batch) Fr Sebastein Puthenpura spoke of his historic experience on seeing Barak Obama taking oath as the president of USA and the personification of Martin Luther King's dream. He also spoke about his responsibilities as the new Principal, at the same time acknowledging the efforts of Fr George fernandes.

On the same day, the new Basketball Court near the Fr McFarland's Hall, was inaugurated by Fr Sebastein Puthenpura and Fr George Fernandes (a well-known basketball player himself). The match between Fr George and Fr Sebastein ended in a draw.
