DNS Maithon successfully conducted the 4th Inter-School Science-cum-Math, Environment and Bible quiz on Saturday, September 08, 2007. There were a record number of 12 participating schools, including debutant St Xavier’s Purulia.
Fr James Kalapura, SJ, Jamshedpur Jesuit Provincial, was Chief Guest on the occasion, who emphasized on the need for a balanced coordination between intellectual and emotional development, whereby one becomes socially sensitive. Fr George Thana, SJ, Rector and Vice Principal (Activities), DNS FRI was the Guest of Honour. The keenness of the contest was obvious from the outcome.
